A busy few weeks.
On 7 May we celebrated Giorgio's 17th birthday. He decided to spend it with us and not go out to the Hot Tin Roof Club. Margaret baked him a lovely cake and all was right with the world.
We've started going out, more often, to see live music. The afternoon gigs are the best for us because it means that we don't have to leave Giorgio for too long. (Note for Kevin, get some afternoon gigs!). We've been to the Arena Bar & Bistro, in Denia, on a couple of Sunday afternoons with the music being provided by the Jazzy Boys. The band is guitar, drums, keyboard and horn player. The music is superb and the guys are obviously enjoying themselves. We certainly did. The food was good. Visits are highly recommended.
We went with Wilf and Shiela to a bar in a nearby village, a fortnight ago, and enjoyed a fine afternoon of blues music. The high spot was definitely the appearance of a young lad who travelled up from Murcia, with his dad, for the gig. In his very early teens, this lad could play his Telecaster like a master.
We finally decided that enough was enough and changed our car. We are now back with the Mercedes family and very happy to be so.
Margaret has finished her latest wall hanging plus more additions to the Catknit family! Talented lady.
Wilf and I continue to practise on our respective lutes and a world tour, with EC as support act, is not far away. If only..............
Tim and Josie are back from The World for a brief visit and we've enjoyed seeing KTF and My Brian.
More next time.
