We've been keeping a daily diary, for the past 18 months, and it's amazing how much can be crammed into a single day. It will also prove to be an invaluable document for a project I'm thinking about, sometime in the future.
Giorgio continues to stay strong and control our waking hours. We're thinking about giving him his own blog so that he can answer the many enquiries about his health.
Wilf and I continue to practice on guitars and we earned a round of applause from Margaret and Sheila just the other day. It's difficult to explain how good that feeling of making music is. Margaret gave me a present of a new Fender amplifier, now we've both got one. Big thanks to Wilf for keeping the faith and putting up with my singing. We're getting better and who knows.......
As you can see, we went to see Andrew Duhon at the El Cid in Benidoleig on Friday. I was having a great time but I do look a bit of a MOG.
Andrew's current album, Grammy-nominated 'The Moorings', is a superb collection of songs. Treat yourself and check him out. Wilf and I now review selected musicians for CBBlues. Have a look at www.CBBlues.com Karla Darocas, the driving force behind CBBlues, works bloody hard to keep live music on the front burner. There are some incredible blues musicians on the Costa Blanca, Tom Poole step forward and take a bow, so we are doing our bit to help. There is more to live music than tribute bands so open your ears before it's too late.
