In spite of the fact that Spain is famous for it's great weather, this truly has been a summer to remember. We've had the odd few spots of rain but nothing worth mentioning. Saying that, when we thought it really was storm time, the sky entertained us with the most magnificent display of cloud and colour.

Giorgio continues to keep us grounded and entertained. Now near seventeen and a half he is doing so well. Long may it continue.
We went, with Wilf and Sheila, to see Andrew Duhon for a second time. It had been planned that he would play at a certain bar in Javea, but fortunately Andrew emailed us on the afternoon of the gig to tell us that the venue had changed! It was a lovely evening. Nice man. We are looking forward to his return in 2015. Who knows what might happen then......
We continue to see Pasquala and Inma at intercambio. I do need to work harder. Margaret will no longer let me cheat!
The evenings are now perfect for having dinner on the terrace. We tend to eat about seven and the sun is now disappearing behind the house next door which makes it nice and comfortable. Margaret continues to surprise and delight with her din dins skills.
Wilf and I continue to practice and I'm thinking that we are doing well.
Last, but certainly not least, a dear friend sent me a postcard to tell me how much he enjoyed the book. Thanks Piers.
