Giorgio has had a bit of an up-and-down month and continues to control events in the Wilcox household. Long may it continue.
We are now back into our full gym routines and the benefits cannot be underestimated, certainly not for us. S.C.A.N, Society for the Care of Animals in Need, celebrated their second birthday and they go from strength to strength. Their birthday BBQ and the Craft Fair, a few days later, were both great successes and I applaud their hard work and dedication.
Costa Blanca Blues is going from strength to strength. The second Literary & Blues day was a great success. I enjoyed promoting Lock-Down Blues and the afternoon was a dream for blues fans. Danny Boy Sanchez, a harmonica maestro from Valencia, and a local scratch band lead by Tom Poole, ensured that we had a great time. Danny Boy is returning to entertain us on Sunday 14 December so the future looks very bright. The following Saturday was the second Coffee House event and this is developing slowly but in a very positive way. Long may it continue. Do check out www.CBBlues.com and read our music reviews and the coming events. I'm told that we are going from strength to strength.
We continue to enjoy our intercambio meetings with Pasquala and Inma. It's amazing where our discussions lead and we enjoy every minute.
Eric Fuller is a regular visitor via the air waves and his recent 'musical contributions' are very impressive. Wilf and I continue to to make music and we really are making great progress. We hope that some of you may recieve unexpected christmas presents from us.
A few days ago we took delivery of our first iPad. Wow, we should have had one long ago. We continue to enjoy great meals, and coffee, with our close friends. Life is pretty good.
As I was preparing this post I received an email from Dave Wadeley, a friend from Prison Service days. Dave was one of the nicest people I was lucky enough to meet during my 30 year service. Thanks Dave, I'll be in touch.
More next time...
