Hi,
March has been a busy month, as is the norm at the moment.
We enjoyed calls from Mitch Egan and John Hall, both entertaining and nice people. Tonus gym is a regular part of our activities and has given us the opportunity to swim during the colder months.
Went to Platinos Bar in Javea to see Hangover Tuesday. Great band who deserve a wider audience.
We went to see another group of musicians but 20 minute drum and bass solo's don't float this particular boat. We've had some great meals out and we're now looking forward to enjoying our terrace, with the warm weather definitely making its presence felt.
I've been busy with the sequel to Lock-Down Blues, 32,000 words as of today, so thanks to my small group of 'advisor's' for your responses to my emails. I've now named you 'The Corrections'.
Giorgio, our gorgeous Siamese, continues to control our days and nights and long may it continue.
Mandy, one of The Corrections, lent us a book titled The Four Agreements. Food for thought?
THE FOUR AGREEMENTS
BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean
Avoid using the word to speak against yourself
or to gossip about others. Use the power of your
word in the direction of truth and love.
DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others
say and do is a projection of their own reality, their
own dream. When you are immune to the opinions
and actions of others, you won't be the victim of
needless suffering.
DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express
what you really want. Communicate with others
as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings,
sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement,
you can completely transform your life.
ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to
moment, it will be different when you are healthy
as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply
do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement,
self-abuse, and regret.
